STRESSED ERIC

I've not loaded much new stuff lately because I want it to be a surprise for anyone who is able to make it to my show.

The main one is in BRISTOL, opens on FRI 18 JUNE, for a week.

Then we have two in LONDON. For more information click on the 'EXHIBITION' link below my banner, at the top of the page.

Hope to see you there!

D&AD INVITES

(front and back)

(front and back)

These were my submissions for the UWE D&AD invitations. The information on these is not correct for 2010, it is copied it from last years invite. And before you say, I know I wrote D&AD in the wrong order on the last one.

FAMILY FORTUNES

My new project.... gameshows!

WELL BREAD

These are some spreads from a zine that I'm working on called 'Well Bread'. Families and their favourite foods. I ate a lot when I was drawing this.

Some day it will be available to buy HERE.

BRISTOL SHORT STORY PRIZE ANTHOLOGY

My submission for the cover design.

ILLUSTRATION FUNDRAISING GIG

Poster by Luke Jinks and Adam Hancher.

If you're in Bristol THIS THURSDAY why not pop down to The Junction. We are hosting a night of sweet rock n roll, in order to raise money for our fast approaching degree show. RSVP to our facebook event, and invite lots of friends.

Featuring live performances from Bristol's finest spine chillers, DADDY LONG BONES, and the raging beast, JAWS OF A GIANT.

BACK TO THE FUNDRAISER

Poster by Adam Hancher and Jack Hudson.

On Wednesday 28th April we will be holding another fundraiser disco at Start the Bus, in Bristol. The theme is movies, and fancy dress is encouraged, but not essential. Please support our degree and come along. Boogie to all the best movie soundtracks, bring lots of friends. Join our facebook event and request your favourite songs.

Update: This was my costume. Sadly Rabbit didn't make it through the night without suffering a few injuries.

Zimmer-Zim-Ahh

To raise money for the degree show I organised a fundraiser at Start The Bus. We had a stall selling cakes, prints and Christmas cards during the day, as well as window drawing from Jack Hudson and Aidan Meighan, and busking from Harry Sankey. In the evening there was a disco, and guests were encouraged to dress like their grandparents.

A Word To The Wise

To help raise money for our degree show in June 2010 I decided to make a zine. I wrote a brief and gave it to everyone in my class. The idea was for them to pass on any important life advice to others. Fellow illustrators Adam Hancher and Jack Hudson helped to edit the zine.

The above images are my own entries, and in the photos above you will also see work from a few of the following; Owen Gatley, Aidan Meighan, Laurie Stansfield, Caroline Halliwell, Fiona Gallagher, Lyzi Unwin, Megan Warre, Alice Hyde, Cei Willis, Gaby Selby, Charlotte Cooke. Including a poem from Big Jeff.

The zine is A5, 65 pages long, and contains illustrations from 38 Bristol based illustrators/graphic designers. Copies are £3 each, please email me if you are interested in buying one to help our funds! We are currently in the process of making more, but they will be available to buy HERE soon.

Puppet film

video
"Watch me"
This was my first attempt at animating one of my models. I still have things I'd like to work with on it, but overall I'm really happy with the mood of the film, and the make-shift quality of it. Really enjoyed playing with this, must try more with film. Big thank you to friend and fellow illustrator Harry Sankey for help with the filming.

The music is a 'Crazy In Love' cover by the Puppini Sisters, and 'Can't Hardly Stand It' by Charlie Feathers.
